What it's made of

No factory. No shortcuts. Just four honest ingredients.

Veg tan leather

Tanned with plant extracts. It darkens and softens the longer you carry it.

Waxed thread

Saddle-stitched by hand, so one broken stitch never unravels the rest.

A maul and a chisel

Every stitch hole punched by hand. Loudly. My neighbors know.

Elbow grease

Edges sanded and burnished until the layers feel like one smooth piece.

One bench. One maker.

Everything here is made by me, in a small workshop in North Carolina. I cut the designs with a laser, then do the rest by hand: gluing the layers, punching every stitch hole, saddle-stitching, and burnishing the edges.

It's slower than a factory. That's the point.
